Hadimba Devi Temple

One of the best places to visit in Manali is Hadimba Temple, which was built in the 16th century and is situated atop a hill in a gorgeous deodar forest. The temple is very important to the community as well as to the visitors who usually travel to the pilgrimage site to ask Goddess Hadimba for her blessings. The goddess Hadimba, who was also married to Bhima, the most powerful of the Pandava brothers, is the main attraction of the temple. Hindu legend states that the giantess Hadimba meditated here to atone for her crimes. She thus received the title of Goddess from the most powerful Goddess Durga, whose 10-centimeter imprint is still visible at the temple’s entrance.

Solang Valley

Rohtang and Solang Valley are two of the most popular tourist destinations of Manali when you are on a Himachal tour. Solang Valley is located 14 kilometres to the north-west of Manali’s main town. Solang Valley, a favourite destination among adrenaline junkies, offers a plethora of thrills and activities including parachuting, paragliding, horseback riding, and driving mini-open jeeps suitable for all ages, and so on. Skiing is a popular activity in the Solang valley during the winter months because of the snowfall. However, Zorbing replaces skiing when the snow melts. During the summer, you could see a large translucent ball with often two people inside rolling down the slope at Solang Valley, making use of the valley’s slopes. It is indeed as enjoyable and fascinating as it appears to be. One of Manali’s liveliest and most popular areas, this breath-taking valley is unmissable.
